Art on the mountain - a unique experience
The reservoir at the Mittermoosenalm in Niederau is a picturesque location that has become a cultural highlight thanks to the “Kunst am Berg” park. Three new sculptures by international artists are added every year, meaning that visitors can now discover an impressive collection of 30 works of art. The park, which is located right next to the idyllic reservoir pond, is just a 30-minute walk from the Markbachjoch gondola mountain station and offers a unique walk through art and nature.
Right next to the reservoir, the Mittermoosenalm invites you to take a refreshing break. In summer, visitors can enjoy chilled drinks in a trough here, which can be taken for a small fee. A perfect place to combine art and nature and enjoy the day.
