Advent Singing in the Pfarrkirche, Church of Oberau

To conclude the anniversary year of the Oberau Men's Choir, an Advent Singing event will take place on December 1st. A mixed Christmas choir with members from across Wildschönau, along with the local brass band, will set the mood for the holiday season.

In the beautiful Baroque church of Oberau, various music groups and traditional "Anklöpfler" will perform a program of reflective holiday music, including the Oberau Brass Band, the Children's Choir of MMS Wildschönau, the Krautinger Brass Ensemble, Nina Hölzl on harp, the "Tiroler Wechselsaitige", Josef Mayr on the organ, and the Oberau Men's Choir.

A small refreshment stand will be set up in the church square, and traditional "Anklöpfeln" caroling will take place by the nativity scene.
