Brauerhof Farm
Traditional Krautinger schnapps made from beetroot, handmade
The Brauerhof in Oberau is known for producing the famous Krautinger, a unique schnapps made from beets, which is only produced in the Wildschönau. The Thaler family has been distilling this traditional herbal schnapps for over 15 years, following old distillation laws. Twice a year, the Krautinger is produced on the farm, with the entire family – from the great-grandmother to the child – involved in the distillation process.
