On the Road with the Canticle of the Sun – Pilgrimage on the Franciscan Trail

Meeting point: Parish Church Niederau, 10:30 a.m.

Join us for a spiritual pilgrimage along the Franciscan Trail. This 3.7 km route leads from Niederau to Oberau and features impressive steles created by a renowned artist. Along the way, we offer inspiring reflections and moments of prayer.

Getting there:

• Public transport: VVT bus 770 from Wörgl

• By car: Inntal motorway (toll), exit Wörgl, parking available at the Markbachjochbahn valley station

Details:

• Easy, well-maintained trail

• Duration: approx. 3 hours

• Visits to churches in Niederau and Oberau

• Option to stop for refreshments in Oberau

Please bring sufficient water and, if needed, a small snack. The pilgrimage takes place in all weather conditions – sun and rain protection are recommended. Return to Niederau is possible on foot or by bus.
