Current information on lockdowns

Due to a severe thunderstorm on 30.06.2024 evening in the Auffach/ Mühltal area, the following facilities 
are closed until further notice:

 

Weißenbach-Bridge is open 

This means that car traffic to and from Thierbach is possible. 
The hiking bus service to Thierbach is in operation. 

 

Kundl Gorge

 
Operation of the Kundler gorge slow train is possible.

 

Closed hiking trails 

 
In particular, all hiking and forest trails in the area of the Schatzbergbahn valley station are currently closed due to fallen trees. Please take appropriate care in this area!

Currently closed paths are:
In Auffach: Holzerweg in the direction of Hohlriederweg, Schrattenthalweg in the direction of Roggenboden and Sonnberg/Horlerstiegl, Adlerhorst/Wirtsbergweg Dorfrundweg and the Dillentalweg/Pechkaser. 
In Oberau: From Roggenboden (Cafe Jacky) in the direction of Auffach/Schrattenthalweg to Spar supermarket, from Sonnberg (Hotel Silberberger) in the direction of Schrattental/Auffach to Spar supermarket. Alternatively, take trail no. 41 to the Tegelanger in Auffach.

Further closures or changes are possible on an ongoing basis. As soon as there is an update, we will inform you immediately.
