Holzalm

The Holzalm is picturesquely situated in the hiking area of the Alpbach Valley and is the ideal starting point for hikers, nature lovers and bikers. The short but challenging ascent to the Gratlspitze, Alpbach's local mountain, is rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of impressive mountain ranges such as the Großglockner, Großvenediger and Wilder Kaiser. You can also enjoy fantastic views down into the Inntal, Wildschönau and Alpbachtal valleys.

The Holzalm offers a spacious parking lot and can be reached via the Zimmermoos district as well as from the Wildschönau via the Holzalmhöfe in Thierbach. An insider tip: spend the night at the Holzalm and start the day with a sunrise hike to the Gratlspitz. The juicy schnitzels are particularly popular and should not be missing from the menu.
