Our family-friendly Pension Leitenhof in the beautiful Wildschönau high valley is only a few minutes away from the center of Niederau. The quiet location is the perfect starting point for numerous hikes. The surrounding mountains in Niederau offer a diverse sports and leisure program both in summer and winter.

In summer, Wildschönau offers about 300 km of developed and marked hiking trails. Whether on beautiful walking paths in the valley, alpine trails at mid-level, or climbing in higher regions, the Tyrolean high valley in the Kitzbühel Alps invites you to discover new perspectives time and again.

There is plenty of space in and around the house for playing. For example, a playground for our little ones is located next to the riding stable.

In winter, the gondolas take you up to the Markbachjoch or the Schatzberg; there is a free ski bus from Niederau to Auffach.
