On Saint Francis Path you will reach "z'Bach" the Wildschönau Mountain Farming Museum. The former working farm was built in 1795 and consists of the farmhouse with a well, a farm chapel, a mill and a baking oven.
The path continues parallel to the brook to Oberau. A unique feature in the whole of Tirol is the baroque Oberau church with its 52 meter high tower, a landmark of the valley. Continue along the forest path to sunny Roggenboden. From there take the Schrattental path downhill to Auffach. Here is another museum worth seeing, the 1st Tirolean Wood Museum with wood carvings and over 2000 exhibits on the subject of wood. Return to the starting point with the bus. See the timetable here.
