Our tip: St Francis Path connects Oberau and Niederau and is also very popular with locals. Lined with imposing bronze statues and featuring a mining museum and children's playground along the way, the trail scores points especially with families. For inquisitive hikers, on the other hand, the Auenweg herb trail is ideal.
Along the way you will get to know the cultural diversity of the Wildschönau from a completely new perspective.

Von Niederau, Oberau nach Auffach
The easy walk from Niederau to Oberau awakes your interest. Admire the bronze statues along the way with your children or catch exciting glimpses of the past in the Z'Bach Mountain Farming Museum - variety is the order of the day on St. Francis Path. The children's playground and the open-air swimming pool along the route invite you to play and have fun. Plenty of opportunities to discover, marvel and enjoy.
Open all year: St. Francis Path is suitable for prams and wheelchairs. In addition, the route is lit up at night.
In den Zauberwinkel
Wie der Name sagt, ist der Zauberwinkel, ein Ortsteil von Oberau, ein ganz besonders schönes Plätzchen. Schmucke Bauernhöfe, Wiesen und am Ende ein Blick auf das Inntal sind die Highlights der Wanderung.
Dorfspaziergang Mühltal
Mühltal ist der Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung zur beliebten Kundler Klamm. Im Ort gibt es aber auch einen besonders angenehmen Dorfwanderweg. Die Mühltal Runde führt durch einen Wald, entlang des Baches über schöne Bauernhöfe in den kleinen Ort retour. Teil der Rundweges ist seit kurzem der Weg der Vertrauens. Der Winterwanderweg Schönangeralm ist auch noch im Spätwinter ein toller Tipp für einen Spaziergänge oder eine Wanderung.
